Welcome to our Practice website
Palfrey Health Centre provides healthcare to the local Walsall community.
Our team includes two GPs and a Physician Assistant, a practice nurse and two health care assistants as well as our practice manager and administrative team.
We offer a full general practice service and run specialist clinics for all ages. We also work closely with other health care services locally.
At Palfrey Health Centre, we aim to treat all our patients promptly, courteously and in complete confidence. We feel it is important you know who you are speaking to, so our practice staff wear a name badge and identify themselves on the telephone.
This website is for both existing patients and those considering registering with us. It tells you about our services, how to access them and some general information about how our practice operates.
If you live in our practice area and would like to register with us, please complete one of our registration forms that you can download from the website or request from our reception. You will be registering with the practice rather than an individual GP.
Why Palfrey Health Centre?
The term Palfrey is derived from the Latin term `paraveredus’ meaning a well bred light horse and history suggests that horses were kept in this area and in Walsall as a whole.
